the spear cuts through water by Simon Jimenez. its queer fantasy, but really fucking well done. the vibes are like if you took a ghibli movie and added way more violence. phenomenal use of POV (he uses first, second, and third all throughout in a very unique way). can't recommend enough.

100%. I've been on tumblr for a while, and while it's gotten a lot better in recent years, it still doesn't allow nsfw and so there's still a huge gap in the fandom spaces.
