Oh and Team Kirby is probably dead. Rip.

(From Syzekrom's Kirby Translation Masterpost on Tumblr) Kumazaki has also mentioned that Team Kirby Clash Deluxe was originally conceived with a deep backstory, which obviously is almost entirely absent from the game. I think this is that backstory. The Dream Kingdom was on Halcandra.

You can see the remains of Castle Town’s fencing, buildings, the quest board, and even Magolor’s shop cart. In case there were any doubt this is in AD, another version of this stage exists with these weird things from RtD, and most Parallel bosses are fought here
October 24, 2024 at 3:39 PM
Now it’s time to talk about the biggest contributor to this theory, Kirby Clash’s decisive battlefield. A stage first seen when fighting Landia EX that has the ruins of Castle Town within Another Dimension
October 24, 2024 at 3:38 PM
Adversely, the Master Crown looks identical between Clash and the main dimension. Even Landia EX’s crown design was changed between RtD and its remake to match the Clash appearance. While design changes are frequent, this at least makes it seem like they’re the same
October 24, 2024 at 3:38 PM
On top of that the Dimension Mirror, which is at least implied to have been made by someone considering its similar properties to the Master Crown (dark entity and dimension warping), is totally different in Clash than in the main dimension (Implying they’re separate objects)
October 24, 2024 at 3:37 PM
But of course, this could just be one of the many planets the ancients traveled to during their time exploring the cosmos. Which is what I would say if it wasn’t for this guy… and that crown. What in the WORLD are Landia and THE MASTER CROWN doing in the Dream Kingdom?!
October 24, 2024 at 3:36 PM
As we know, Doomers particularly seek out energy spheres because of their space-time warping properties. These spheres are part of technology created by the ancients. If Greater Doomer is being lured to the Dream Kingdom by some energy, it must be the ancient’s tech
October 24, 2024 at 3:35 PM
On its own this evidence isn’t that convincing, but I have way more to show to strengthen these connections. Another boss in Kirby Clash should raise an eyebrow to people who noticed its first description mentioning strange energy, that being Greater Doomer

Elemental bosses have only appeared in Super Kirby Clash, which lines up pretty well with how Magolor Epilogue is capped off with a Clash tie-in. Given that the Dream Kingdom is a different version of Dream Land, if it was on Halcandra that would explain ME’s bosses
October 24, 2024 at 3:34 PM
In particular, the three elemental bosses are a little important to explaining the connection between the Dream Kingdom and Halcandra. These bosses are explained to have been born from elemental material in their dimensions. And that’s it. Why are they Pop Star’s bosses? Um dev time duh
October 24, 2024 at 3:33 PM
That is what I hope to answer in this thread, alongside giving more weight to Kirby Clash’s admittedly barebones lore. A good place to start would be explaining how the Dream Kingdom could even be on Halcandra. I’d like to start by talking about the bosses.
October 24, 2024 at 3:32 PM
Now that that’s out of the way, I’d like to ask: “Why does Magolor even get sent to the Dream Kingdom?” Like really, why? In the context of ME he just explored Halcandra’s remains and saw it blow up. Then suddenly, microtransactions. What’s the correlation? Keep this in mind
October 24, 2024 at 3:32 PM
As for the Dream Kingdom being in the past, luckily both Kirby Clash games start by stating this, alongside mentioning they take place in some far-off world. So that makes my job much easier (They also refer to this place in the past tense, weirdly enough. Probably a coincidence)
October 24, 2024 at 3:31 PM
To lay some groundwork, this theory basically hinges on the idea that the area Magolor explores in Magolor Epilogue is Halcandra’s remains, and that the Kirby Clash games take place in the past. I think most people agree on the first one given the Egg Engines buildings and gears

Bringing this from Twitter cause its peak. Kirby Theory Thread.
DREAM KINGDOM WAS ON HALCANDRA THEORY (Dreamcandra Theory)
This is a thread where I explain my theory that the Dream Kingdom was on Halcandra in the past, but now lies at the bottom of Another Dimension alongside most of the planet.
