In the UK we fucked up the huge railway system with massive closures of lines as a way to force motorway building because 1 billionaire would get the money for the contracts and his wealth meant he was besties with gov officials & MPs.

Billionaires run car companies. Creating cities that don't require cars will never happen because billionaires will lose money if cars are not needed. The whole design of cities is around the car (in the US & New Towns in UK) because another way is not possible because billionaires with power...
