A little work in progress on this. It's been fun to watch how gouache works. It can be layered thin or thick, reactivated with water, and changes colours when dried. I'm not sure how indicative Himi brand is compared to others, but I find it has a very chalky look at the end #himi #gouache #lunamoth

Sketchy gouache warmup of a luna moth, unfinished. Edges need a cleanup, and she's missing her iconic feathery antennae.
