I never thought I would get the chance to see Eric Clapton perform. He was outstanding! It was a pretty simple show, no fancy lights or pyrotechnics, and he didn't talk much, yet he made a big venue feel small, especially during the seated acoustic portion of the show. Go see him if you can! 🎸

I know the NFL has never paid an artist to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show, but if they want Taylor Swift, I think that would have to change. She would bring in so many viewers and generate so much money, she deserves something. She doesn't need the publicity. Her time is now.

Joe Walsh said when AI generated music know how to throw a TV out the window and destroy a hotel room, he'll pay attention to it. While I agree and understand what he means, AI could end up destroying far more than just a hotel room someday, and I probably still won't like the music. 🎸🤘

It's easy for people to say they're rooting for you when they think you're going nowhere. It's easy for people to jump on the bandwagon after you have succeeded. It's the people who support during the tough times in between (where most musicians get stuck) who really care.

When I buy a brand new guitar, I want it to look like a brand new guitar. I see the ads for new guitars in "relic" condition and they just don't appeal to me. Clearly many people disagree or they wouldn't keep making them this way. To each their own. 🎸🤘

Some artists have said they don't like performing at Glastonbury, which got me thinking about what I like in a venue. I don't like tables. I like a parking lot. I like dark rooms with "real" stage lights that move. I like a backstage. I like when there IS a stage and not just a spot on the floor...🎸
