Discovered this artist visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art this week. I find modern art often times is so abstract and intellectual that it feels disconnected from the human experience. Not so with John Wilson which gave me the type of emotional reaction to his work I usually find with music.

RIP… I never saw a better front man on stage performing. He was amazing and his music was incredibly important.

First paddle of the year in West Virginia’s Trough. Started at the Wapocoma Camp Ground and ended in Romney. With all the rain the water level was very high and the current swift so we managed about five miles in about an hour.
