Do you know where it was situated and what year this advert was taken from? I ask 'cos I mention ammonia refrigeration in 2nd year thermodynamics, would be good to slip this is in as a nice local example of ammonia refrigeration and the inherent risks of ammonia.

I also enjoyed the description of scientific instruments as icebergs, with the capital cost the bit you can see, and the running costs and required infrastructure as the larger hidden piece underneath.

I listen to episodes of "Night Tracks" from Radio 3 on BBC Sounds. Lyric free (bar the odd choral latin), gentle, varied, and gives the odd new musical discovery.
