Thought about doing the game Portal, but I did just recently draw with blue and orange.

This would obviously be subjective to each person, but even though I tried to make really gross colors, this is a pretty cute Titicaca water frog. 🐸
Acrylic paint this time, instead of color pencils.

Went on a "snake bite - copper - ankh" research rabbit hole recently, so this felt like a perfect subject.

Colors inspired by your favorite junk food.
I thought about choosing Gushers, but that would just be a rainbow. So, here's my cat as Cooler Ranch, specifically Doritos brand from the 90's.

Day 9: Basket Stinkhorn
Being able to accurately draw things in nature is a skill I'm working on, as a nod back to biologists like Ernst Haeckel. This dang fungus is a pain to draw, but I take it as a challenge, something to improve upon.

I'm just using color pencils right now, hoping to get some painting in for fun textures.

I used a leather stamp and pressed it into the paper before drawing on it.

I felt inspired by this art challenge from Faunwood on Instagram. Really excited to play with color every day. Forgot to post about it here!
