I love being able to have student led conferences, hearing students talk about their school experience with their family or trusted adults but working a 12 hour day to make them possible is not a sustainable model. Any experience with SLC’s that don’t require excessively long days?

Hello! I’m a high school health teacher in the PNW. I focus on skills-based units with content wrapped in. I’ve been working on implementing trauma-informed practices with the help of @asv.bsky.social and @joebrummer.bsky.social. Also working on engaged reading strategies. Always learning 💙
