People outside of LA truly don’t understand how apocalyptic this is. It’s worse than it’s ever been. Entire residential neighborhoods are burning to the ground.

AI data centers are multiplying across the U.S. and sucking up huge amounts of power.

New evidence shows they may also be distorting the normal flow of electricity for millions of Americans

I can’t stop thinking about Doechii and the total masterclass she gave on Tiny Desk. Her band too, holy shit. What a groove.

It’s time to start the goodbyes, I’m leaving Fastly in January.

So proud of all the teams I have led at Fastly. We built some rad tech. What a crew!

I’m taking a break, but I’m open to talk about how I can help grow & scale engineering orgs. Just holler - we’ll start scheming & dreaming.

I got a Covid booster shot. Hells bells, it’s laid me out for two days now! Fever, body aches, swollen lymph nodes.

It’s incredible technology with minimal social skills. It just walks in starts a brawl.

how do you all remember every UUID? I find it really hard. so I wrote them all down on every uuid dot com

the list has fast search across all 2^122 values (so you can find your favorites) - hoping to add some social features like "trending UUIDs" soon!

Started the ski season today. Huck yeah!

This season I’m excited to be joining Achieve Tahoe as a volunteer ski instructor. It’s going to be a blast to be a small part of making outdoor recreation more accessible to people with disabilities. Let’s ski!

I’m basically a blood bag for the post snow melt mosquitoes, but I’ve made peace with that donation. I’m racking and stacking the miles for July. Tracking well toward 130 miles of ground
