Finished another new patch - the K'aresh Trust emblem. Happier with this one (though I've run out of space on the front of my jacket)

last patch I completed.... not super happy with this one, but its finished and on my jacket at least, and the corners were easier to satin stitch down because their angles were more obtuse. used some variegated thread in this one too as an experiment.

There's something so fun about finding something cool at the thrift store for cheap ($5). I never remember to bring my UV light but I managed to pick this out just by looking at it - uranium glass vase. Yes, it's mildly radioactive due to the uranium content.
It's a uranium glass vase sitting on a glass shelf. It's green and fluoresces a brighter green under UV light. Likely made by Anchor Hocking in "Cameo/Ballerina" which is from the 1930s. There are some rocks around it and a black urn next to it.

My newest character, an arcanist and artist whose portraits have something uncanny about them; one might almost suspect that something magical is in her pigments. She's interested in the history of K'aresh, and in recreating images of the world's scenery from before its destruction.

the green one with broad sleeves using a pattern from Pierrot yarns ( www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib... )
for the blue/green/gold one, I can't recall the pattern I modified for it... I'll reply to myself if I can find it
A bright green sweater comprised of two main sections; its body is a marled pattern of blue, green, and purple flecked yarn, knit plainly with a wide neck and loose shape. The sleeves are crocheted lace of plain pale green yarn, loose and broad and meant to drape down from the shoulder. A plainly knit sweater with a broad neckline and mid-length sleeves; it is coloured in shades of green, blue, maroon, and dull golden orange that are marled and marbled together thanks to the pooling of the yarn.
