My 3rd time in #Lisbon, after a decade. The city, people, fabric the same. The city I was born in #Turkey grew from 400K to 2.5M in 30 years. Everything was demolished,replaced by malls, blocks. What remained became unrecognizable.Not just cities destroyed and looted,the country’s memory was erased.

We’re used to getting ripped off in London, but this is a new level of daylight robbery. The Empress pub in Victoria Park Village added £1.50 to our bill for two slices of lime. With service fee, that’s £1.87. Repeating, FOR TWO SLICES OF LIME!

Trying to buy a ticket from #BritishAirways using my miles for about ten days, but each time a technical problem screen appears at the last stage of the process. Ten days! Either BA doesn't want to issue award tickets on purpose, or they're just so incompetent that they really can't issue a ticket.

I was very surprised to find myself saying on social media that I had really liked the last theatre #play I saw. I went to the #KingsHeadTheatre to see #Firebird. Wow. It was funny, emotional, sexy, political... Even someone with severe #ADHD like me couldn't believe how quickly 90 minutes flew by.

The state of Homerton Hospital’s Clifton Centre is dreadful. Nothing works, everything is broken. And to make matters worse, I had to wait over three hours.The medical staff are decent enough, but the management really needs to take a long, hard look at itself.
