Much of this infrastructure already exists, but the AMLO admin is building new rails, ports, roads, and even civilian capacity including universities, training centers, and clinics. In 10 years it will full potential, but in the short term may provide a shorter travel time than the Panama Canal

Yesterday, AMLO unveiled the latest locomotive for the interoceanic rail system, connecting the Atlantic and Pacific at the Isthmus of Tehuantepece. This is one of the many large infrastructure projects of the AMLO admin. It is meant to be the inland version of the Panama Canal.
