They’re banning TikTok not because it harvests data, the same way US social media does, but because they can’t influence it’s algorithm with congressional hearings or government contracts the way they do every other tech giant. That’s it.

Yes, yes, yes, community care. But also, community rage, gathering, joy & celebration. I want our collective grief & suffering to turn into true love & bold action. I want us to rail against the golden gates of capitalism, together, tear it all down. And imagine, and dream, and rebuild together.
