Today was #septicaemia round 2 but the antibiotics are working & I’m feeling less horrendous. The Hickman line’s been removed & will be replaced later this wk. Finally transferred to haematology/oncology ward @ 5am. So relieved. Trolley beds are uncomfortable! V happy w/ my large 2-bed room on a modern ward w/ its own loo, next to a window which opens. In Same Day Emergency w/rigors & septicaemia. Likely line infection again. Waiting for blood cultures. Being admitted as temp still high & blood pressure v low. V grateful for excellent care, friends who’ve helped & for my amazing daughter xxx

I was well enough to get to Cuddesdon for training this week, and even to take Evening Prayer and Sung Compline. What a privilege to be formed in this holy place ❤️
