Yes!!! The original poster may not have actually been to many different types of births. After 17 years of doula work, I find that the bold claims are by folks who have only seen breezy births. Thanks for sharing the honest news.

Congratulations!! I’ve been a doula for 17years. I’m actually taking care of a baby right now— don’t worry, they are sleeping. It’s a wonderful career. Welcome to the club!
