You're right. However, I see Rs fearing a wounded bull rather than the knock-out we all expect. He's kept his authoritative hold by fear and could continue unless he's fully incapacitated. The driving force is the voters. Exposure of his deeds could change that tide. Without it, never.

So, dear Aussie friend, as I see it, 45 has just called for an investigation against Democrats regarding Epstein, which in effect reopens the "case" and puts any disclosers off due to it being "open". They could feasibly block and drag this thing along for years. If I misunderstand, please chime in.
