4. First race vs. DrowinFish who I hadn't raced before. Ended up being a strange seed to start with some decent backtracking but the last two items were in Chapter 4 which made it a quick go mode after. Managed to get enough power to sneak out a win despite a Bowser heal. On to the next one!

3. This was a back to back so we raced a second seed after a short break. I was… in less than perfect form. The seed had very low power but I made some horrible mistakes from seed bleed and ended up DNF’ing as Drak won and it would have taken me another 20 minutes to catch up. Only one place to go!⬆️

2. Here I go and forget to post about the races. First seed was close, 3 minute difference and finished in the 1 hour 45ish mark. Close race to Drak, some minor routing would have made the difference.

1/ First race was not a pushover, facing Rigby. Still not comfortable with the settings but my movement and combat is getting better. Really need to get better at routing on the fly for massive improvement so Rigby was able to cleanly beat me. Still, feeling better going into the rest of the season!
