And when women rise, humanity thrives.

The UN is the global town hall — where every nation has a voice, every crisis a forum, and those left behind a hearing.

At this 80th #UNGA session, let us lead with courage and resolve — to deliver peace, development and human dignity for all.

Same work. Same value l. Same pay — for women and men.

Anything else is injustice.

I visited Amman New Camp, in Jordan, where @unrwa.org delivers vital services to Palestine refugees — from health to education — amid due constraints.

The UN remains committed to @unrwa.org in solidarity with Palestine refugees and their host communities.

Eighty years ago, the world turned tragedy into resolve — and captured it in the UN Charter.

A declaration of peace, justice, and shared humanity.

In uncertain times, it remains our compass — and a clarion call to act for we the peoples.

The current system is not delivering for the people it was designed to support.

But #FfD4 will be a moment to renew hope — by working together to solve global challenges and keep the promise of the #SDGs.

On the road to #FfD4, we must advocate for a global trading system that is both free and fair — advancing development and delivering the SDGs for people everywhere.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Pope Francis, a leader who embodied humility, compassion, and peace. He championed the poor, embraced dialogue, and called on us to care for our common home.

My prayers and deepest sympathy go to his entire flock. May the Almighty grant him eternal rest.
