Y’all very exciting news: my one year old orchid IS BLOOMING! I have kept it alive and it’s thriving! How?? I don’t know. Its sister plant needs time to bloom still.

Every night Bean tries to lick the skin off my arm—it’s the lotion. I have to let her or she’ll sneak attack me all night. After I get her to stop, she invariably sneaks an elbow lick. Such a little weirdo. I love her.

My win today besides my orchid looking like it’s gonna grow some flowers is that I bitched so much to our trash co about our missing trash container (it’s been weeks) that they gave us a free month of trash pickup.
