The 3D Outline effect has more depth than I expected. It's quite useful to tweak its thickness in areas with small intersections like the eyes and mouth, and you can vary the stroke to add stylization and weight to some body areas. Vertex painting is your friend.

I just came out of pipeline madness. I dropped #Cascadeur, it was a nightmare to bring back its animation into #Blender. I lost 2 weeks because of a decision that made sense at first.

In my mind it was lalaland :

The mental gymnastic required to switch between DCCs and not keep confusing the shortcuts is the bane of my existence.

Omg I solved it ! The culprit was the Rest Pose being based on IK when the retargeting switches everything to FK, introducing offsets. So the solution :

1. Put the #AutoRIgPro armature in rest pose
2. Select the limb controllers and in the N-Panel switch them to FK

Oh the misery, Exporting an #AutoRigPro skeleton to #Cascadeur then importing it back to #Blender doesn't get recognized as its original rig. It's been 2 days of figuring out where the differences are and testing retargeting mappings.
