I feel like in this argument we have to let go of semantics, bcuz someone who listens to books isn’t a reader in the literal sense but in the sense that they love and consume books, and same with gaming. They’re not doing the act, but they love and consume games nonetheless

I had this thought about watching gameplays of videogames. Does it count as gaming? You end up with the exact same knowledge as the gamer, you just don’t do the *action*, aka “gaming” or in this case “reading”
