This is one of the best summaries of contemporary leadership I’ve read in a long time. Well worth your time if you’re involved in leadership in some capacity.

With many coaching clients, I help address two key questions: 1) What are your core values? and 2) What are the roles where you can live these values? When you get clarity on what you want to be doing, the rest falls into place. You spend more time relishing the work you do and less time scrolling.💪

I love the lesson Coach John Wooden taught Coach Cori Close: Build a program for more than just her university. "Remember the banker, the baker and the community...Make sure your program serves them too."

“Coaching was fantastic yesterday!! I told my husband how much of a dance floor you always provide; you allow me to explore, feel, think, dance, rest, grow … and I never have to do it all by myself - I never feel alone!! Thank you for providing what I need.” Nothing better than a satisfied customer.

I love sports, but running was never my forte. I was never the fastest and I never really enjoyed it. But as I get older I am trying to look at the ability to run as a gift. So, I am riding the treadmill again and taking it one step at a time. That's my only goal; What's yours?

This is why I loved writing my book about women’s college basketball - so many great women athletes out there and only sexism and a desire to keep sport as a male preserve prevents us from recognizing them

I had a client who came to me too late. Burned out. Too much work. Cutthroat colleagues. Eventually, he quit. Industry layoffs burdened him with fears that he'd be next, leading to a toxic work ethic. It doesn't have to be this way. Reach out if this is you, too - the first call is free.

How many #academicsky users out there are using the winter break to redesign courses to make the most of what #GenAi has to offer, but also to design assignments and quizzes that are “AI proof”? I’ve been thinking a lot about this issue and would welcome any suggestions. Thanks!
