No imho. Children presumably pick the flower, not the whole plant. Unless the answer was expanded to include 'reducing chances of pollination etc'... It's got to reflect the real answer. A good opportunity for discussion though!

E.g. Did they lose marks for not understanding the command word and therefore give their answer in the wrong format? Or was it a particular maths skill? Or graph interpretation??

Top priority is that students take responsibility for their current weaknesses and work on them by selecting those areas as foci for intensive work over the coming weeks. It works in conjunction with a spreadsheet they have access to. But we also look at skills analysis.

Exam wrappers. We had the wonderful @trythisteaching.bsky.social visit us and I think this is a great way to feedback to our students. I've tried this first with year 9 to see what tweaks I need to make before trialing with year 11 after their mocks. These are available on his blog.
