And then folks out in the sticks where the closest you can buy milk, $10 at the gas station, or at the dollar store for $4. When you have to grocery shop, drive half an hour to go to the nearest stores, krogers or walmart. Choices. Guess I'll just stick to my folk's tradition of boycotting brands.

Reading is ritual. I've read to mine since before they had words. Little one keeps insisting on the lil New Testament he was handed at a graduation, awkward but ok, if you insist, I'll read it. He reads to me too ❤️. Then the audiobooks, if I'm out of sorts. Last night he fell asleep with Narnia on.
