This isn’t some situation where the political institutions remain constant so they can just wait for public opinion to change, play by a known set or rules, and put things “back to normal” (whatever that means).

Congress doesn’t seem to understand how irrelevant they have made themselves, esp. senators. The country continues to backslide and they just punt everything to the next artificial deadline. Each time the new deadline comes, they have fewer levers to pull.

I do wonder at what point we declare Obamacare effectively repealed. Yes, a few pieces remain, but eliminating the subsidies is going to change how those markets operate a year or two from now.
