My buns hate when I try to keep them alive

I’m so sorry for your loss, and I hope you find the perfect vessel for your bunny ❤️. Take your time, treat it as sort of a mindfulness activity to help you process things. I really find it to be helpful in those early stages of grieving ❤️.

My third bun was a blue Flemish Giant, so he’s in a very sturdy-looking, handmade blue jar (again from Etsy). And my fourth bun was a dainty little white Netherland Dwarf mix, so she’s in a white vintage jar with flowers on the lid. (cont)

My first bun is in a little jar from Etsy that the maker marketed as a q-tip jar I think lol. She was brown and her middle name was Jade, so when I found a green jar with a brown bunny perched on the lid, I knew it was perfect for her! (cont)

My second rabbit (but first to pass) is in a handmade urn from a craftsman I found online because Etsy didn’t exist yet and I had not yet realized that there’s no reason why I can’t put my baby’s cremains in something that isn’t marketed as an urn lol. It’s beautiful and one of a kind though! (cont)

If the item you have chosen to serve as an urn is breakable or has a lid that can fall off, definitely put the cremains in a sealed ziploc bag inside the vessel first so you don’t end up with a complete disaster if it gets knocked over. (cont)

You can also try to find something in person at an antique shop or a store that sells home decor. And of course, you could always commission something from a small business if you can’t find something you like (this might be more expensive, though). (cont)

When searching a site like Etsy, I usually do a search for “lidded jar” or “decorative jar” or “trinket box” rather than “urn.” Rabbits are small, so their cremains will usually easily fit into jars that were originally intended to store things like jewelry, trinkets, cotton balls, etc. (cont)

This is something I’m sort of oddly passionate about. For me, selecting an urn is an important part of the grieving process because it’s the last thing I get to do to take care of them 💔. Items that are marketed as urns tend to be expensive and not very personal. (cont)

Yep, any time I hear someone is thinking about getting a rabbit, I tell them ALL the negatives and then end it with “if you still think you might want a rabbit, reach out to your local rabbit rescue, they can help you determine if rabbits are compatible with you, your family, and your lifestyle.”

lol def not a fed, just 37 and increasingly out of touch with technology 👵🏻🥲. I *can* function on discord (I talk in a small group chat for another fandom I’m in every day, and I belong to some merch alert channels), I’m just not a super advanced user who takes advantage of all the features, I guess?

Do you guys allow new members to join the discord? I'm shy and not great at navigating discord (I do use it, I just don't fully understand all the features lol), but l've been an Eminem fan since 2001, so I'm intrigued 👀

Eminem has always hated republicans and was literally questioned by the Secret Service over Trump-related lyrics because some dipshit reported him as a potential threat to the Trump family. He openly despises Trump and I’m baffled by all the stupid/delusional MAGAs who think Em is on their team.

I always struggle with the song sorter because it’s painful to make a choice when it’s a song with great lyrics vs. a song I love sonically. I feel like I need to do the sorter twice (once judging based on lyrics, and the other judging based on production)…but that would take an eternity 🫠
