It’s always fun to get to play against each other on the track. My girlfriend and I were put on opposite teams of a roller derby scrimmage last night!
Two jammers, one in white slightly ahead and another in black, having freshly broken through the pack. I’m the jammer in white, my girlfriend is the jammer in black. A bit closer of a shot, you can see we’re both smiling as I work to keep her from passing me.

I don’t even have the shiny charm on this save yet and I’ve had massive shiny luck tonight. No sandwiches, no outbreaks. There was also a Luxray I came across while trying to evolve the Bisharp.

Right before the jam start. The two jammers, I’m in black, are in focus. In the foreground are the blockers. I can be seen through the arms of the blockers. I’m lead jammer here, I think. The opposing jammer in white is right behind me. I’m about to bust through two opposing blockers. I’ve pretty much broken past the pack. One opposing blocker has fallen small to my right, two opposing blockers are behind me along with two of my own team’s blockers.

I survived my first roller derby game!!! My legs are so sore but I kicked all kinds of ass as a jammer tonight and I’m very happy about it.

Time to rest and recover so I can do another one next month!
I’m the jammer in black in the center with the star on my head. This was during a scoring pass, I’ve broken past three blockers here.
