The "promotion standards that prioritize quality over quantity" can be a double-edged sword, though, depending on who determines "quality". I've had "quality" used against me by colleagues unqualified to evaluate it.

If you have a gas grill, consider charring the peppers, tomatillos and onions a little. Turn your grill up to "hell", slice in half crosswise & coat with oil or cooking spray, then give 'em a good char. Veggies stay firm that way but they get nice bits of carbon & caramelization.

Try roasting the tomatillos.

It's only tedious because so many ppl weirdly continue to dispute documentable facts, not because it's a fact.
