I suffered an injury in July which has slowed me down and risks ripping the heart out of what makes me me.
My core recovery is from a brain injury, but as I have gotten out on walks, it turns out I can't "walk out" some of the stiffness from the injury.

I am heart sick about the fires. Please everyone, your safety is the singular important factor. I have been through four wildfire evacuations. I have seen many people stay behind in evacuations to save their property and that concerns me, especially with these big urban fires.

I’m shifting from all of the challenges and negativity of 2024 to bringing in a great 2025. Here’s my 15-year old and I. He’s wearing his MatPat jacket, a big reason we’ve been into YouTube culture. We’re looking forward to 2025. How about you?

It's a source of vexation to me that there's no proper word for the study of fairies - and I suspect the absence of such a term may be one reason why the study of fairies doesn't get taken seriously. So what are the potential options? (thread)
