Jose's work on the project deals with evaluating cytotoxicity and developing novel 3D organotypic tissue models. His research interests include vascular tissue engineering, 3D spheroids, electrical stimulation, and medical device development.

Julian's clinical interests are in facial trauma, oral and maxillofacial implantology, and tissue augmentation. His work in AMFaces includes evaluating new medical grade prosthetic materials, engaging Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement groups, and improving treatment and delivery.

Sarah's research portfolio includes approaches to skin wound repair, orthopaedics, and translating 3D tissue engineering techniques to a range of practical applications.

She advises on biomaterials in relation to tissue engineering and biocompatibility testing of experimental facial prosthetics.

Ally McGrath is the Project Manager for AMFaces with experience in supporting UKRI funded grants, research impact and working with diverse teams in the fields of Cancer and Biomedical research. She oversees research administration across the institutions and monitors research progress and finances.

Kinjiro is a postdoctoral researcher at UoM. His research interests are in human colour vision and applications of psychophysics and hyperspectral imaging. His work on the project includes characterizing 3D facial skin colours, colour appearance assessment and modelling facial skin and AM products.

David is a professor of Vision Systems at UoM. He has expertise in hyperspectral imaging, colour vision, computational modelling, and clinical applications. He is working to measure 3D skin colour appearance and construct computational models to provide data for advanced additive manufacturing.

We held our annual Strategic Advisory Board meeting yesterday hosted by our colleagues at @kingscollegelondon.bsky.social. It was a great opportunity to bring the team together, share our progress with the board and gain valuable feedback.
