My art and stories have always been about building a world misfits can escape to and belong in. My life is much the same.

Petrichor protagonist Alexandra and the Saffeerian animals.
Digital drawing using Wacom tablet, 2025.
Many of my Petrichor illustrations are drawn in a looser style. I want to leave room for viewers to use their imaginations while reading. Loose styles are fun and great companions for stories. :)

Oh, Look! Horses!
My friend and I were joking about how distracted we'd be by the beauty of the four horses of the apocalypse and my friend Jake said, "So Many Eyes!" So, I drew it.

Are we showing off our kitties today? Here is Diarmuid doing his best Hamlet. (Funny enough, my other cat's name was... alas...Iorek.) He chose the pose.

I take a hard stance on this. I will not buy your book if the cover is AI generated. How can authors expect people to support them if they don't support visual artists? How can we trust the author didn't use generative AI for the text if they're willing to use it for the cover?

Magnus is Mr. Personality. Unfortunately for him, most bands don't want a dog as a frontman... even bands with growling vocals.
