So I think it’s just common for anyone who’s first language isn’t English to act like they don’t speak english-even if they do-until they figure out if we’re even worth talking to. I do not blame them one bit 🤷🏻‍♀️

By correcting I mean reminding them that Mexicans come from Mexico and most of our Latin coworkers are from Nicaragua 🙄. By educating I mean reminding them that our HR department wouldn’t hire anyone without proper identification, immigrants pay taxes, and they’re here to work for a better life.

Spanish speakers can’t understand them. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve been making an effort to learn more Spanish, because I respect and truly want to communicate as best as I can with my coworkers. I have given up correcting & educating my willfully ignorant coworkers on things now that DJT is in office, they don’t care

Honestly I’ve noticed this among my Latin coworkers as well. They all speak Spanish, but only a couple openly speak English. The ✨super smart✨ white coworkers are very loud with their racist remarks thinking none of them understand, my eyes bug out a LOT at stuff they say when they think that the-

My son-her one and only grandson-is autistic! Now I know what she really thinks of him. And I am struggling with the realization that my mother is *pure hypocrite* and I have no idea who she is. Like…why did she not raise me to be a perfect Barbie robot wife then?! WTFFFFFFFFF

I used to be a “I don’t discuss politics” person, but I have never been conservative. I’m still selective about what I say and who I say it to, but it never goes over well to be a “burn it all down and start over” kind of person in a “Trump is the new messiah” area 😂 🤷🏻‍♀️
