My husband’s employer is ridiculous. “We love/appreciate you and want you to keep working here, but we won’t give you any more raises and don’t bother applying for a promotion because we won’t give it to you. Oh, and please stop trying to make friends with your coworkers or helping anyone out.”

I’m so done with scam accounts on FB/IG. My business page gets waves of scammers messaging me wanting to “buy” my items and usually I politely tell them off, but today I had one of them CALL me through FB Messenger…

Got a free tree last year and we didn’t open it until tonight. Just so everyone knows, when the box says “Sparkling pre-lit tree” the sparkling doesn’t refer to the lights… it means they glitter bombed it and it will share that glitter with you, the floor, and everything else in your living room.

The pie crusts for Thanksgiving are made and chilling in the fridge in preparation to be rolled out, filled, and baked tomorrow. (Turkey gets the oven on Thursday) Still don’t feel the greatest, but love baking and find it somewhat soothing! Who knew Thanksgiving would take 2-3 days of prep?

The sickness has been spread to me… the joys of having school age kids that bring home all types of germs, I guess.
I love this time of year because I get to wear hoodies every day and it’s not freakishly hot, but I loathe the viruses that always make their way around.

Finished our first play through of The Quarry tonight. Ended up keeping almost everyone alive (only lost two counselors, three Hacketts, and one big bad wolf). Pretty good survival rate in my opinion!
