I will never forgive the Democratic Party for their failure to keep Nazis from capturing this country. Maybe they'll finally learn once they realize the Nazis won't either.
Of course this is what would happen. The Democratic Party had four years to learn from their mistakes. To embrace popular progressive policies, to throw the book at seditionists up to and especially including those in Congress, to restore and strengthen voting rights, to codify abortion rights, to expand the Supreme Court as a counterbalance to corrupt judges, to make good on their promises and deliver. Instead, we got four years of Biden in aviators eating ice cream. They broke promises of stimulus check payments. They broke union strikes while laughably claiming to be pro-union. They said they would raise the minimum wage but didn't. They said they would forgive student loans but they didn't. We begged for healthcare, they gave us nothing. We begged them to stop supporting and actively funding the Gazan genocide, they doubled-down. We implored them to court younger voters, progressives, and a multitude of marginalized groups, they yet again trotted out the tried-and-failed playbook of shitting all over the left in some weird attempt to court imaginary moderate Republicans, locking themselves into center-right positions, depressing dem voter turnout while not gaining an iota more support from the right because why the fuck would those voters support diet fascism and bigotry--excuse me, "conservative policies"--when the full flavored name brand is right there next to it on the shelf? They let literal traitors off with less than a slap on the wrist while Merrick Garland stuck his thumb ever further up his own ass. Biden told the billionaire class "Nothing would fundamentally change," and he kept that promise to them, while breaking his promises to us. Over and over and over and over. The Democrats failed us. Again. Like always. Of course.
