Yesterday DHS filed 500+ pages of country conditions evidence for trial today. Judge accepted the filing over my objection. DHS said my client could relocate because he was harmed by private actors. I said my client was tortured by police. Judge pretermitted the case and ordered my client deported.

Immigration law is too complicated to just replace the judges. We need standards for existing immigration judges. Get rid of judges with a pile of complaints against them. Keep the judges who do their best to work in a woefully broken system.
