The Briscoe Western Art Museum was surprisingly a great museum! So many beautiful pieces of art! I truly enjoyed this visit!

While in San Antonio this past week, we visited San Antonio Missions National Historic Park.
Our tour guide, Alex, was great, and what I was most surprised of was that these missions are still active churches!
We got rained out half way through, but it was still neat to see and learn the history.

While visiting San Antonio, I got to visit a bookstore owned by Jenny Lawson, The Blogess.
Such a cute store with wonderful employees! I love that they offer to stamp your books you buy. I didn’t get a book, but, I did buy a few blank notecards and asked if they’d stamp those, which they did.

Had Silent Book Club this morning. I’m currently reading “Ugly Love” by Colleen Hoover.
Tried a drink off the special summer menu from Headrush Roasters Coffeeshop. It was really good, and I’m going to have to go back for another soon!
I enjoy these meetings.

My reading has come to a standstill over the past month with everything going on with me. Concentration has been shit.
Thought I’d try a different book to hopefully kickstart it again.

Got to visit The Purrfect Day Cat Cafe in Covington, Ky while visiting. My niece always requests I take her there when I visit. So fun to play with all the cats. It’s currently their “kitten season”, but I missed that by a couple days.
