Honestly it wasn't that different. Produce ended up a little pricier because there were a few items that I had to buy organic to get grown in Canada. The only thing I couldn't find a Canadian product for was flax seeds. I'd say I paid less than 5% more than usual, and happy to do so.

The Legacy was discontinued a long time ago, so don't think I'll find another one. But I think I'll be ok...

I spent a lot of time at The Caledonian back when I lived in Toronto, I miss Donna and the crew. Unfortunately there aren't any bars in Hamilton with a selection like that, but we make do with our home collections.

Yeah, I also like to open bottles with friends, thankfully we have a pretty solid whisky community here in Hamilton, so I don't often find myself without some buddies to get into some new bottles together.

I'm also a fan of their bottles. The old label 95 is particularly nice!

That 35 is a birth year bottle for me. Can't wait to hear what it's like!

I find they taste significantly better when they're open!
