She asked me where I got my info (Reuters). She then asked me why I was considering canceling my 17-year membership for a drug they “never carried.” She me not to believe “everything I read.” FFS. Gaslighting, anyone?

I called and spoke to a customer service agent. At first, she had no idea what I was talking about. Asked me what medication I was talking about. Asked me what it was for. And suddenly, about 90 seconds in, she had a script.

If they had never sold it, they wouldn’t need to make a statement saying they would no longer sell it. It’s doublespeak.

Then why would Costco need to make an announcement about it? Carrying it in stock vs. selling it by special order are two different things. I often have an rx for something they don’t carry, but they get it in from their local supplier the next day.

Do NOT take his no for an answer. Do what you have to do.
