Rob Ulin has been awarded the 2025 M. Elizabeth Osborn Award for his play JUDGEMENT DAY. The award, which recognizes the work of an emerging playwright who has not yet received a major New York production or a major national award, includes a $3,000 prize.

Branden Jacobs-Jenkins has been awarded the 2025 Harold and Mimi Steinberg/American Theatre Critics Association New Play Award for his play PURPOSE. The award, which recognizes an outstanding script that premiered in a professional production outside of New York City, includes a $25,000 cash prize.

PRIMARY TRUST playwright Eboni Booth will appear the Center for Fiction in Brooklyn on April 16 at 7 pm, in conversation with Heidi Schreck, and with excerpts performed by William Jackson Harper and Luke Wygodny. Eboni will sign copies of the new TCG edition of her Pulitzer-winning play.

Christina Anderson and Mfoniso Udofia have received the 2024 Steinberg Playwright Awards, a.k.a. the "Mimis," in the amount of $100,000 each. The Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust gives these each year to 2 outstanding early-to-mid-career playwrights.
