Good news: there will be 8 more SEC-vs-SEC regular season games next year to sort some of this stuff out before it gets to selection weekend.

NFL “reseeds.” NHL used to until they went to a divisional bracket a few years ago.
NCAA has gone with a bracket for CFP, which makes sense since that’s how they’ve always run the 64 team basketball tournaments.
