Interesting that you found it to be Michael's story. I remember it being more of an ensemble. Loved when each character had whole episodes dedicated to themselves!

Some might say Gary's and Elliot's actions and treatment of others as...crazy/unsettling. I liked Susannah's self-awareness of being often misunderstood...far from crazy. She was an introvert.

What specifically abt Melissa & Ellyn characterize them as crazy? I found Melissa's trajectory by the end of S4 to be well thought out. Her standing up to Mike, Miles & her grandmother. Her not settling 4 Lee at first. Ellyn's complex upbringing spoke to her constant self-sabotaging...until Billy.
