If my kid would tolerate staying at a hotel, I would book a night in a heartbeat 😬

Done my BA kind of? We were waiting for our health check up when my colleague said they wanted to skip the barium this year too and asked about me. I made an answer that sounded so stupid to me: “yeah I’ll do it because you don’t know you have something until (brain freezes) … you have something.”

I am quite surprised by my bank (SMBC) efficiency 😅. I have no idea how that happened but someone tried to use my card on Rakuten and the bank notified me of a suspicious payment. I could get it cancelled right away as well as the card (gosh… all the subscriptions I’ve got to deal with now…).

You cannot make this up I swear. We got stuck 15 min on a parking yesterday.

If you spot me sneaking around parking looking at random cars know that my son developed an obsession for a specific tail light that’s actually not so common and we cannot put him to bed if he does not at least see one. Yes I’m typing this as we’re walking around with him looking for one 🙃

We successfully passed the interview and I now face a mountain of paperwork and there’s a packet about sewing stuff, they're too kind, I’m never gonna sew anything, thank you 😆. Also the cost for the uniform (that realistically, he will never want to wear) was mind blowing 💸💸💸💸💸
I didn’t expect to be this busy this year with my new boss lady hat. Not expecting any improvement cause in an unforeseen turn of events, our daycare is kicking out all 3 yo+ and our only viable option is a Catholic kindergarten and 85% of the mothers are not working and I've got to join the 母の会 😬

We were standing by the fire station (my son is in an intense fire truck period) and a fire fighter opened the door, called us in and offered my son to sit on the truck with the lights on—the video of his face is PRICELESS, you can see him *glowing* with joy, like you’d see his smile in the dark 😂

My mother is coming soon, which means I’m placing an insane book order for the kid. I want them all… Can’t make… choice… Aaah.

After an entire year going to see trains every day, rain or shine, I’m happy to announce the child is now into… boats. Closer to my own taste, though a logistically complicated new interest (blessed be YouTube).

I hope that police also start policing cars and trucks parked in cycle lanes that make it dangerous to go on the roads

The article is super interesting but they entirely skipped the ‘young people don’t have the ¥¥¥¥¥¥’ paragraph. I don’t think it’s the “lack of experience attending weddings” playing any role here. If people had the money without going bankrupt, they probably would party with friends and family.
This move poses a serious threat to the industry of fake priests and karaoke parlor style wedding chappels in Japan...

My blog hosting contract expires in 2 months and like last year, I’m really tempted to pull the plug. I don’t have fun on Internet anymore, my Wordpress is broken beyond my ability to work on it… My hosting contract is also expensive, but I don’t see myself doing one more transfer…

Oh they should be concerned. We’re in the thick of it in our part of Kita Ward and everything is going up. Friends who bought an apartment 49 mil 5 or 6 years ago are reselling it at 65. Land price hiked so high, locals who were planning on purchasing are pushed out.
