My favorite days are zoo days. I did back to back shifts today and still had the energy and joy to walk around and enjoy another hobby with my photography. My fingers are stained with silverside stench and I feel the warmth of home.

This fish is often villainized for her different appearance. But wasn't it beautiful when she rose from hiding in the dark to experience the light most see everyday. She was brave, resilient, fearless. We saw her. Why not Trans people? Can we stop making them monsters and just awe in their sunshine?
