This is not a study about C19 causing liver damage - instead it is about how some people are experiencing extreme stress due to C19 which causes some to increase their drinking of alcohol to numb their emotional pain
Excessive drinking during the pandemic increased rates of liver disease, transplants

"All adults, especially those aged ≥65 years & others at high risk for progression to severe C19 illness, should reduce their risk" with:
1) Updated C19 vaccines
2) Actions to reduce Covid transmission (i.e. masks)
3) Early use of AV meds
