But how could this admin's braintrust have effed up something as simple as invading a sovereign country, kidnapping its leader, and announcing they're now our colony and will be handing over their natural resources?

What an idiot. This is what stupidity looks like.

Part of this is theology. Jesus was a Jew who preached social justice. Protestant evangelicals usually focus less on Jesus of the gospels and much more on Paul's Christ, resurrection, and individual salvation. They're more followers of Paul than followers of Jesus.

Love this so much! I'm from the area and still have family there, so I know how conservative the coast is. Go, Gulfport!! :)

They apparently had some vile things to say about Vance's own wife's (and children's) ethnicity, as well. The man has no soul.

This is just so sick and outrageous, but I'm very glad to hear she's back with her family. I don't know what her experience was like, but this article by Rumeysa Ozturk, also snatched by ICE, has stayed with me. www.vanityfair.com/news/story/r...
“Even God Cannot Hear Us Here”: What I Witnessed Inside an ICE Women’s Prison
Tufts University doctoral student Rümeysa Öztürk opens up about her 45 days in a South Louisiana processing facility—and the generous and compassionate women she met.

My theory: At some point in his military career, Kegbreath had to salute a black woman and has never gotten over it.
