Part of this is theology. Jesus was a Jew who preached social justice. Protestant evangelicals usually focus less on Jesus of the gospels and much more on Paul's Christ, resurrection, and individual salvation. They're more followers of Paul than followers of Jesus.

Hey, better late than never! But I really hope he's talking to his former network of colleagues, one-on-one, leveraging his relationships to persuade, rather than simply trying to start a new revenue stream with content.
