They delayed a bit last month, and now this. Definitely will see how it goes, but if OwlCrate's shipping speed keeps on getting worse, I might just unsubscribe. The ridiculously slow shipping of Bookish Box was one of the reason they got cut, so if #OwlCrate goes down that route... ✂️

My Kindle Unlimited expires end of this month. I'm planning on not renewing if there is no cheap gift subscription that I can gift to myself by then. I'm not counting on it, so most likely my KU will be ending. It's kind of mentally hard to let go of it after having it for so long though. 📚💙

DNFing my second book of this month. Not sure if it's the narration, writing, or me listening at 2.25x speed, but some parts make the MC sound so pretentious and patronizing. There's also some misogynistic, racist, right-wing undertone that make it even more unbearable. 🤮 📚💙

#BookSky, are there any middle grade books that deal with and recognize covert narcissism and/or toxic parenting traits? I found a reddit post with recs, but seem to be more geared towards teens, and that might be a bit more difficult for a 5th grader to comprehend.

Sometimes I read a book and find it so "meh" that I don't even want to waste energy or effort logging it on Storygraph... I think certain tropes are just not my thing anymore but I keep on trying. I need to just let it go already. 📚💙

Got Qiuyuan with my very last 10 radiant tides. I even used afterglow coral for them. Thankfully I did not lose 50/50. This also means I'll have nothing saved for Chisa but I'm not that torn up about it tbh. 😂
