Thats even better! He would have probably got more wear out of it as a toddler too, not growing quite as fast (I think? Lol). Its super cute!

Thank you 😁 they turned out so well, but my gosh they were a pain to assemble - which the patterns warn about haha. Worth it, but never again for me 🙈

I would just say if you've still got the right gauge, now you're knitting in the round, you should be fine. My gauge at the start on dpns is much tighter than in the round and Ive had to pull back a couple of hats because of that. I think I go down a size compared to my dpn gauge.
