Tired of skewed normals in Substance Painter?

The Fix:
➡️ In your 3D app (Blender, Maya, etc.) add an inset or a supporting edge loop where the baking artifacts appear.
➡️ Re-import your updated low-poly and bake again. Voilà! Clean normals.

There's something so zen about lo-poly modeling.
Focusing on the basic forms and letting the brain fill in the rest. This bunch of cables was a perfect exercise in shape, flow, and simplicity.
