I actually have a much more thematic idea. Instead him getting a new like you said, Cortana — during her time in Infinity — leaves her blueprint for Chief's new suit, based on her research on GEN2 armours, and other MJOLNIR tech. In the Epilogue, Chief new armour awaits as he sheds the old one.

But his missions are also the most interesting story-wise. So much intriguing things happening.

Would've been cool as a DLC for sure, but I'm excited Halo 7 is happening!
